Fostermation, Inc. produces scaler needles that are found in pneumatic scaler guns. A pneumatic scaler gun uses compressed air to thrust a piston into a back and forth motion. This motion forces the scaler needles to move back and forth against the work surface. These tools are typically used for removing rust, paint, and mill scale from metal surfaces.
Scaler needles are produced in four standard diameters:
2mm (.079″), 3mm (.117″), 3.175mm (.125″) and 4mm (.156″). Standard materials include C1065, 410SS, and CDA172. Needles are produced with a standard tapered head configuration and a square cut-off end.
